Description

Zumba with Karen Cornelio

10:00 to 11:00 a.m. – Saturdays

Zumba takes the “work” out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin and world rhythms

take over, you’ll see why Zumba Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise. Zumba is a total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning,

balance and flexibility, boosted energy and a serious dose of awesome each time you leave class. You’ll need some room to get down, supportive shoes, water nearby, and a towel.

Karen has been a licensed Zumba Instructor since 2013 and with UW Recreation at IMA since 2016. She also has a career as an engineering consultant, so virtual fitness is

strangely familiar for her. She is crazy about music from all over the world and loves to take you on a trip to as many countries as possible through music and movement.

While the choreography is easy to master, there are layers for additional intensity and progressions – this is a class made just for you and your new home dance studio.
