Description
Sciences and Mathematics (SAM) will be hosting our Welcome Day event
on Friday 9/30/2022 from 12:00 – 3:00 PM on the Prairie Line Trail (north)
and the Ground Floor of Tacoma Paper & Stationary (TPS).
During this event, incoming and current students will have the opportunity to:
– Interact and make connections with fellow students interested in STEM
– Speak with SAM faculty about what classes we offer and faculty research
– Potential research opportunities while at UWT
– Speak directly with SAM Academic Advisors
– Participate in STEM demonstrations
– Take a tour of the laboratory facilities within the Sciences and TPS buildings
– Connect with Campus Registered Student Organizations (RSO’s)
