On  Saturday, June 25th, 2022 Officers will be conducting a special traffic  enforcement emphasis patrol looking for impaired drivers and removing  them from our roadways.  Law enforcement officers from multiple Pierce  County agencies will be participating in this patrol.  

Impaired driving is a leading factor in Washington driving deaths.  In Washington State, impaired driving is defined as:  

• driving while under the influence of drugs,

• driving while impaired by alcohol, or

• driving with a blood alcohol concentration of .08 percent or above.
