Labor Day Observed by City of Tacoma on September 5

Administrative offices in the Tacoma Municipal Building complex (747 Market St. and 733 Market St.) and in other City of Tacoma facilities will close September 5, in observance of

Labor Day.

The Tacoma Recovery and Transfer Center (TRTC) located at 3510 S. Mullen St. will remain open on September 5, from 8 AM – 5:30 PM, and scheduled garbage, recycling, and

yard/food waste pick-ups will not be affected.

All Tacoma Public Library branches will close on September 3.

There will be no parking enforcement by City staff on September 5.
