Pierce County Library System recently issued the following announcement.

Date: Friday, Mar. 04
4:00pm – 5:00pm

Location: Virtual Pierce County Library – Virtual Room 2

Dust your apron off because it’s time to get busy in the kitchen! Join us each week to explore the hows and whys of food & cooking while trying new things with fun recipes you can cook yourself!

Recipes and ingredient/equipment lists will be provided 5-6 days before program for those registered 5-6 days in advance.

This program involves real-life cooking (with tools, heat, etc.), so parent/caregiver involvement is necessary. Only you can determine the appropriate amount of supervision and assistance that your child needs.

Note for caregivers – Registering your child for this event gives them permission to participate in the library’s virtual event hosted on Zoom, an online platform. The event will be monitored by library staff. We encourage caregivers to join in with your child and ask that an adult stay with children under 5.
